# 2472 is a P-8 Pacific built by Baldwin in 1921.  It is one of the lucky ones that escaped the scrapper's torch.  The men are refurbishing the seals for the piston valves on the Pacific.  It takes the effort of many volunteers to keep an eighty year old locomotive in action.
