The wood piled next to the water tank came from our pine tree.  The water tank is a vintage brass fuel tank for model airplanes from the 1960's.  Eventually I may make an effort to put in some dummy plumbing to an equally spurious injector.  Then again, now that it's running, it's probably done.
This shot shows the view from the running board.  It also makes me wonder why I polished the boiler and weathered the water tank...
Here you get a good look at the Midwest Heritage steam engine "kit".  You also get a fairly good view of the 7/8":1' wheels from Gary Watkins at Sierra Valley Enterprises.  The neat little "Koppel" Journal blocks came from Gary as well.
