
By now you should be
pretty handy with the razor saw and miter box. The bunker assembly is
purely cosmetic and should be easy to build after having tackled
the frame. None of the dimensions are critical and you can easily
change the design to make your engine unique. You may even want to
substitute a metal can to represent a fuel-oil tank.
Proceed by cutting the
bunker materials to length using the miter box. The parts can be
assembled on top of the plans in the same manner as the frame.
Once the three sides of
the bunker are assembled, you can epoxy them to the deck of the frame
assembly. Make sure that the bunker is attached squarely and that
it is centered on the deck.
